It’s a Spain summer tradition to have Seattle Starlight Cinema put on an Outdoor Movie Night in our backyard! Join us under the stars for a high-definition, surround-sound, theater-quality showing of the time-traveling classic Back to the Future on a 17-foot screen (as well as Toy Story 3 indoors). A last-minute affair, but if you and your friends and family are free, we’d love to have you over!

 

(Cancelled in the event of rain!)

Showtime is sundown, around 8:30
We’ll Have: Popcorn, candy, soda, beer, and blankets (for seating)
Please Bring: Other snacks and drinks you want, seating if you don’t want to sit on a blanket, and warm clothes; it will cool down by the end of the movie!

Parents Please Note!

Back to the Future is rated PG, but it is from an era where “PG-13″ didn’t exist, and I encourage all parents to review the parental guide (links below) for the movie to decide if it’s appropriate for their kids. We will have the G-rated Toy Story 3 showing inside as an all-audiences alternative for families with split-level children, although again, review the parental guide for the movie; there are some intense scenes, and it probably should have been rated PG.

Old People Please Note!

Some perspective for those of you who saw it in its original theatrical release: Back to the Future, in which Marty McFly goes back in time 30 years, was released 26 years ago—we’re almost as far away from Marty McFly as he was from the 1950s!
